Over the last few months, the JL team has seen an increase in the sale of Johnny Lightning preproduction samples going up for auction on various websites. Unfortunately, many of these appear to be fake and coming from the same sources. Here are some rules to keep in mind when purchasing preproduction samples:
-Get to know your seller.
-Find out how they were acquired making sure they are real.
-Any preproduction sample issued at or after the 2007 Lightning Fest has "TZ" on the chassis.
